Events Future DRPP Monthly Meetings
A World of Photojournalism Spencer Ainsley Poughkeepsie Journal Photographer On Thursday, March 11, Spencer Ainsley, Director of Photography and Multimedia is adressing Dutchess Regional Professional Photographers (DRPP), on the World of Photojournalism. Having worked in the field for 28 years, Ainsley offers a wealth of knowledge about the challenges, ethics and dangers of the business. "What you see and what you can show are not always the same thing," he conceded. He plans on showing images as demonstration of his expansive experience as well as talk about the stress of the job. You have to always come back with a great shot," he explained, and "Let's face it, our work is always out there to be judged." The
meeting begins with a social half-hour at 6 pm, followed by
dinner at 6:30 pm. The presentation will take place at 7:45
pm. The cost for dinner is $25/member $30 for non-members and
the presentation alone is $15. If you are interested in attending,
